Roger coming in on his wingfoil as I arrived saying it was windy, so rigged 100l/6m. Well powered, gusty and always planing and never overpowered. Was getting outside gybes in chop ok but failing inshore where it was flat; reckon I was trying too hard to plane out and held onto sail power too long; improved as I relaxed.
Quite choppy so tired after almost 3 hours continuous sailing. Too back footed and climbing up chop so moved harness lines back and much better weighted and flatter. John, Julian and Seb out too on 5m, with my leech so floppy more like 5.5m. Tried several fast tacks, which were rubbish.
